At the 2004 Monaco Grand Prix, a $300,000 diamond that was placed on the nose of one of Team Jaguar F1s disappeared! Placed there as a promotion for Ocean’s 12, the diamond was never recovered after the driver, Christian Klein, crashed - without even completing his first lap.
